Our merchants invite you to wander our streets with well-preserved Victorian era homes and businesses that provide small town service. Stroll along the Snohomish River Trail and through our historic commercial buildings. You will experience traditional architecture dating back to our founding in 1859. Snohomish has a treasure trove of home decor and antiques, along with 12 restaurants, you will find dining a pleasure to your visit. We welcome you to our door and there is no need to knock, just walk on in and you'll feel right at home.

The City of Snohomish, with the cooperation of the Chamber of Commerce & the HDS move forward with the opening of the new Snohomish Visitors Center. The Snohomish Chamber of Commerce along with the City and HDS have come together for this fantastic new local resource. Designed in homage to the Old Snohomish Train Depot, the Snohomish Visitors Center is at First street and Avenue D.
Local Interior Designer Marija Mayo donated her time and talent to furnish the Visitor Information Center interior with authentic antiques donated from Chamber members and from down town Snohomish shops are used to furnish the center, in addition, there is a interpretive historical display and a 10-minute video loop about the city's past and present.

State and federal grant, money collected from city licensed businesses through a VIC project assessment funding from the Snohomish Chamber of Commerce and HDS, and numerous other donations are funding this project.
